Where do I begin... in August 2015, I took my car to the Mathis tire location on Hwy 64, at that time Joe (no longer there) was the manger. They rotated my tires and changed my oil. Well, later that after noon, I noticed one of rim center caps was missing (chrome rims). I immediately called the store and notified the manager Joe of this, he asked that take a picture of my rims and email it to him at wolfchasetire@***.com there I did. The next day I called Joe to confirmed he received my emailed, he stated yes, he will replace the center and should have it in a week or so (mind you this happen in 2015). Fast forward to May 13, 2017, I'm still waiting on the replaced center rim cap. Against my better judgement I returned to Mathis tire on Hwy 64, by this time the have had a total of 5-new managers, (turnover is serious for a tire rotation, oil change and and alignment. I dropped my car off at 10:15am, was told is will take roughly and hour and half. I left and returned at 1:00pm, they were finishing up on the oil change (so I thought). The technician lowered my, got in my and began to reverse back and broke my my driver side mud flap. I saw the technician faced and immediately went into the work bay to inquire what happen, the manager Jerry, informed me everything is okay, I replied the *** it is. Jerry (the manager) proceed to inform me the technician lost his aunt that morning and his mind is not here, what does that have to do with me I stated?! He should not be a work, if his mind is not on work. If I had not seen what what they would not have told me about. At this point I'm beyond frustrated, so I left. I received a called at 4:10p from Jerry, stating my car is ready for pick up. I returned to get my car and noticed the passenger side rear rim was installed incorrectly, so I went into the store to pay and notified Jerry of this, Jerry walked outside with me to examined to examined the rim, he then called for a veteran technician to pulled my car back into the bay and correct the people. But he couldn't, the part was badly striped and could not be repaired. I remained calm and asked Jerry, what are you going to do about this. Jerry states, I'll give a $10 credit on your billed for the broken mud flap and will replace the center rim cap. He should his this in in a few weeks. I then tell him, I heard this before, and I'm sorry but that's not acceptable after all I'm still waiting on the center rim cap from 2-years ago. Jerry tells me, I (he) wasn't here 2-years ago and I have his word this will be resolved in a few weeks. It's now June 19, 2017 and I'm still waiting on other replacements, I spoke with Jerry an hour ago and he informed me there's nothing he can do. I called the main office at 901767**** to speak with Curtis, the regional manager, he was conveniently unavailable. So I spoke you his assistant, was called Joe (the manager in 2015) to get an update...I'm working on it Joe sated. I then lost it, and informed them this is my fault, I should have contacted an attorney when this happen in 2015, but I didn't. I'm not asking for hand out or a come up, I'm simiply requesting that Mathis Tire on Hwy 64, in Memphis replace my 2-chrome center rim cap. I am aware Pep Boys now own Mathis tire, that's unfortunate for you them, there reputation and client intel will suffer dramatically. Please feel free to call me with any questions 901277****.
Ummmm no Walter Mathis had to change the face of his stores cause Mathis 1 has a horrible reputation and 2 the lawsuit for wage and pay violations his x employees won against Mathis Tire. The same techs.
